*This post is intended to provide a brief preview of the video series, so you can determine whether you'd like to tune in and watch. It's also intended to provide a lot of background for the characters if you want to truly immerse yourself into the story line. :)*
I began a brand new "Let's Play" on my channel regarding the "Pets" expansion pack for The Sims 3. Just as the title says, this expansion provides the user with all the things they need to satisfy their animal sheltering needs. From minor pets like birds and snakes to exotic animals like unicorns, this expansion's got a lot to offer for all you animal-lovers out there (or if you're like me and are just obsessed with The Sims 3 and want more realistic content ;)). If you'd like to read a more in-depth explanation of this expansion, click the link here, or if you'd prefer a thoroughly entertaining video review, click here.
I recently teamed up with ten other simmers to do a giant Create-A-Sim collab for The Sims 3! Each member of the collaboration created a sim based off of a Sims 3 Expansion Pack. I chose to take on the "World Adventures" Expansion and you can click the image above to see the creation process as well as to hear her backstory.
Without further ado, here are the custom content links as well as the sim download for Miss Marie McKnight!
I created a new Sims 3 Create-A-Sim challenge called the "Blind CC Swap." For the first installment of this new series, I contacted my friend MilaSimmer to do it with me. Just as the title sounds, both of us downloaded a few pieces of custom content for one another and we each had to create a sim using that CC. This challenge was super fun to do and I would love to see each of you carry it on as well. If you do decide to take on the Blind CC Swap challenge, please send Mila and I a link and give us credit – that will be greatly appreciated!
I recently concluded my Sims 3 Let's Play for Roaring Heights. The objective of this playthrough was to explore the bustling town of "Roaring Heights" (which is available for purchase on The Sims 3 Store) and to indulge myself into an American 1920s setting.
That objective was a success, in my opinion, which resulted in a lot of drinking and drama as the outcome. If you missed the Let's Play or are new to my channel in general, here is a preview of the story, so you can decide weather or not you'd like to watch.
I'm writing this post to mention that I am going to discontinue posting the Not-So-Berry Challenge on this blog. I don't want to maunder on for ages, so I will give you an extremely incomprehensive explanation regarding my reasons for this decision.
In the simplest terms, I want change. Any content creator will tell you that repetition of the same activity can become quite mundane and tedious. I want to keep my brain and my channel fresh with new content, so that not only the viewers remain entertained, but so I'm entertained as well.
This notion about wanting change will not only impact the Not-So-Berry challenge, but it will encompass all parts of my online "brand" – per say (I use that word very lightly). In other words, I want to enter a new age of exploration for my channel.
Change is not necessarily a negative thing, but some changes result making sacrifices. I want to eventually find a healthy balance among all of my life's activities, but for now; this one's gotta go.
I recently uploaded a Create A Sim video called 'A Different Point of View'. In that video, I created this sim named Raelynn Saugara. She is your typical outgoing party-goer who is always in it for the fun. Whether your heading to the bar or just relaxing at home, Raelynn is sure to make it a great time.
I recently uploaded a video to my YouTube channel called the 'Three Minute Create A Sim Challenge'. The challenge was to fully create a sim in only three minutes. Afterwards, I took it upon myself to perfect and revamp the sim, resulting in the image you see above. I challenge all simmers to do this challenge. If you give it a try, send me a picture on Twitter!
A visual way to stay motivated and productive during summer vacation
I'm am definitely one to be a home body. I love spending time at home, but I figured that summer is a time to get out, have fun, and enjoy the heat while it lasts. I decided to set a list of goals for the summer season, so I can get the most out of this vacation from of school.
I definitely have a sweet tooth. As bad as it may be, I would certainly choose sweets over savory foods any day.
With the nearing of summer break right around the corner, a friend and I prepared a batch of Betty Crocker's Snickerdoodle Cookies, and this is the result of our fun times in the kitten.

Iliana is eager to know what is past the suburban life, and wants to join the lively town of Windenburg to find her true identity. Where will her ambitions take her? ▬♥
Kelly Burman is a freshman in college aspiring to earn her masters degree in journalism (communications). Kelly has always had an eye for writing and is very optimistic to where the field may take her. Kelly's bubbly and uplifting personality definitely makes her a person you'd want to be around. But will Kelly's shy nature affect growth in her career after college? How will she handle a life of reporting as a shy individual? Unless she finds an open door, Kelly's dream job may just be a memory of the past.
Hey readers! Since it is officially December and the holidays are just right around the corner, I decided to compile a list of uniquely entertaining activities that you all should definitely try out this December!
Hey everyone! Last Father's Day, I made my dad a key lime pie for his special day. I decided to film the process of making it, but never ended up publishing it publicly to YouTube. Since it is officially Autumn - which is pie season, I decided it would be a great time to share this video! Enjoy this recipe for an absolutely delicious eight-serving key lime pie.
Hey readers! This is my first post in for a brand new blog post series called Smoothie's Space In Real Life, or IRL for short. This is a blog post series where I show you some of my favorite spaces in real life. I will present a photo then go more in depth into why I like this space and the reason for having those items there.
Today I decided to show you one of favorite spaces in my bedroom- my decorative shelf. I like to decorate this shelf according to season, holiday, or any other special occasion! Since we are in the middle of the fall season, I decided to show how I decorated my shelf for the season. :)
Hey readers! Today I have another Game Highlight for you. Last week (now two weeks as I am publishing this post), an incredible game called Minecraft Story Mode was released to the public. I immediately fell in love with the concept and story line. Minecraft Story Mode is a single player clicker game, where the choices you make affect the outcome of your story. One person could play one way, but you could play another, which results in a different ending.
Summary
The story begins with a group of friends, Olivia, Axel, Jesse (you), and Reuben (your pet pig). They are attending a convention called Endercon where they take part in a building competition. The winner of this building competition has the opportunity to meet one of the ultimate warriors of Minecraft. His name is Gabriel. Gabriel is one of four great warriors in a group called The Order of the Stone. Together, they have been the first to defeat the Enderdragon. Jesse and his/her friends look up to Gabriel and are motivated to win this building competition. Once Jesse and his/her friends arrive to the convention, something unexpected happens which could potentially change their lives forever. Their job is to set out on a long journey to essentially solve this mystery.Apple
Review
This epic story-telling game by Telltale Games (the creators of The Walking Dead game) is something definitely worth purchasing or checking out. Much like the game Life is Strange, which I have reviewed in another post, Minecraft Story Mode has a very intriguing plot which draws your attention. Even from early on, you get attached to the characters. This game is also episode-based, so the first episode just recently came out last week and the second episode has already been released!
Something I found very fascinating is that the building and the scenery you see in the game was all built in Minecraft (the game). You can see by the incredible art style and smooth gameplay that this game is very well-made. I also love how it's very hands-on and interactive. There are a lot of desicions to be made which could effect the outcome of the story in many ways. I so far have no complaints and recommend giving this a try. If you're not too sure what to think of it just yet, watch a couple of my favorite family-friendly playthroughs on YouTube. I will leave them listed below. Thanks for reading! :)
Hey readers! It is October, which means most school years have began by this point. Through back-to-school season can be a difficult time, I wanted to share a few of my organizational tips to help you stay balanced and prepared throughout the school year!
This is my backpack that I purchased from a sporting goods company. It is by the brand "Roxy." I like the pattern and size of this backpack. It's big enough so that you can fit anything you may need for multiple occasions. I have used this bag more than just for carrying school supplies.
You can find a lot of good quality and sturdy backpacks from sorting good locations, which I definitely recommend for school. They will last you a number of years. The cost of good quality backpack is usually around $40 (USD) and above. I got mine for about $60 (on sale, yay!) but it's definely worth the cash for a bag I'll be using almost very day.
My planner and my four-pocket folder are two items I never arrive at school without. Having a planner is great to keep your homework and events organized. I like having a folder to store loose-leaf paper, homework, and other types of papers.
I recommend a planner with a full calendar view as well as a weekly view. I like to use the full calendar view to mark down tests, quizzes, and projects. I use the weekly view for daily homework assignments as well as to write down events I may have over the week.
I also love this planner in specific because it has a list of holidays (along with their dates), inspirational quotes throughout it, monthly tabs, class schedule, notes, to-do lists, and address/numbers pages in the front.
This planner is all together very well made and the design is very cute! I purchased this on Amazon for $13.95 (USD) by the brand "Bloom." Find it here. They have many fun and different patterns!
If you'd like to know where I got my teal four-pocket folder from, you can find that at Office Depot! I do not remember the exact price, but I believe it was around $10 (USD). A little pricey for a folder. :P I cannot find the exact one that I own, but click here for a similar one!
My pencil bags are another one of my school items that I am in love with. I adore the cute floral patterns. I only use two of them (the baby pink and light blue one) for school, but I use the excess for other occasions such as traveling. They have many uses!
I love these bags because they are small and fit the majority of utensils I need for school. My only complaint is that an average sized wooden pencil does not fit in these pouches. I was a little upset about about that after purchase. I mainly use mechanical pencils for school, so I keep wooden ones in my backpack. I don't like how if I wanted to have a wooden pencil, I would have to store that separately from my pens and highlighters.
Nevertheless, I do plan to keep these for a while. If you want these pencil pouches for yourself, check them out on Amazon here.
Personal hand sanitizer is definely a necessity for school. Being in a building with hundreds upon thousands of people calls for a lot germs. Here are a few fun ones that I've purchased from Bath & Body Works.
I like to keep a pair of earbuds in my backpack in case there is any spare time during class. They also come in handy if you need headphones while using a school computer. Another way to keep a bit more sanitary! If you have a study period in your school schedule, that's another great time to use these.
Not a big music person? No problem! You can use earbuds to watch YouTube videos, listen to podcasts, or even audio books! If you're trying to concentrate on work and the environment is too noisy, pop your earbuds in to block out the noise.
Since earbuds can get tangled easily, I would recommend taking a few extra seconds to fold them as seen with the black earphones to the left in the photo above. It just saves some extra time that you would've spent untangling them.
I would recommend taking a few moisturizing products to school with you. A miniature deodorant stick or antiperspirant would come in handy after gym class or any other sport or physical activity you may partake in. Lotion is always useful when your skin feels dry, and Chapstick or lip balm is a great way to keep your lips moisturized.
This last item is a little random, but I thought I'd might as well show you my lunchbox! I love the size and pattern of this lunch bag. It is also the perfect size - not too big, but no too small. I purchased this bag on Amazon, but I apologize that I cannot find the link.
That is everything a part from school supplies that I keep in my backpack! If you'd like to see more tags by me, feel free to comment any suggestions you may have. Thanks for reading! <3
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to take this time to share a sim that I recently created, which was inspired by Autumn. I am definitely excited to jump right into this new season, and I thought a fun way to kick things off was by creating a sim.
Audrey McKinnely is your average twenty-one year old female. She's very outgoing, charismatic, and loving. Audrey attends Sims University in hopes to earn a degree in technology to become a private investigator in the future. Audrey has always been an inquisitive girl. She is curious about the world.
When Audrey was younger, her favorite past time was to play detective with her father. Her father, Ron McKinnely, was evolved in the Law Enforcement career himself. He was an international super spy, the top is the special agent profession. Audrey loved her father, they had a special father-daughter connection. They were the only two in their small family that enjoyed crime shows and mystery cases. Every Sunday, they'd both watch crime-solving shows together in their living room. Since Audrey admired her father so much, she wanted to become just like him. She began to read a lot of mystery books to get ideas.
When Audrey was fifteen years old, a tragic, life-changing event occurred. Her father, Ron, was on the job late one night working on a serious case at the office. He was wrangling up a criminal as a sudden bang sounded. Ron's vision began to become hazy as he fainted. He woke up to the sight of tubes, health charts, and the sound of sorrow from two very familiar voices. Audrey cried with joy as she realized her father had woken up from his coma and survived the shooting. This hadn't last for long.
Three months later, her dad became very ill. Doctors diagnosed him with a heart disease. He was getting older, so his body began to break down. He was forced to leave the law enforcement career. He wasn't acting himself. About a year later, Ron passed away from serious heart conditions.
Audrey and her mother, Deborah, were devastated during this time. Audrey didn't have as strong of a connection with her mother as she did with her father. Her mother was an elementary school teacher and wasn't into investigation as much as Audrey was. Audrey became more quiet and began to feel lost. One way she could escape was by indulging into her mystery books. She also began a little bit of rebellious behavior from her frustration of her dad's death.
As time passed, there was one specific activity that bonded Audrey and her mom together. Since Audrey was eight years old, once a year their family would go on a trip to their vacation cottage located in Appaloosa Plains. This is one way they all could connect because they all loved the cold. Ron, Deborah, and Audrey were all born in autumn months. Audrey began to feel closer to her mother as they began to do more things they loved together, be outdoors in cold climates.
They eventually ended up moving to a new town called Oakwood County, it was chilly and beautiful all year around. She made wonderful new friends in this town and life for Audrey was finally going uphill. By the time Audrey went off to college, she had an improved relationship with her mother.
Her next goal was live on her fathers highly-respected legacy in the investigation branch. As oppose to looking into law-enforcement, Audrey considered private investigation as a career. She did not want to feel as if she was replacing her father, but more so honoring him for future generations to look back on and admire. This is where our story continues.
